Product Description Life is Too Short to Listen to Bad Headphones
These days, we spend a lot of time listening to music with headphones. Every minute you spend enjoying your music should be the best it can be, but ordinary headphones can't deliver the rich dynamics, full range, and emotional impact of your favorite music.
Sound So Incredible, We Had to Call Them In-Ear Speakers
Bass So Deep, it Sounds Like There's a Subwoofer
Unlike other headphones that can't reproduce deep bass, Monster Turbines accurately reproduce even the lowest bass notes without distortion. You'll hear thunderous low-end for incredible sound with every kind of music, from the thumping bass beats of hip hop tracks to the deepest pipe organ notes in classical compositions.
Turbine Headphones Less Noise, More Music
We live in a noisy world that can interfere with your listening. Monster Turbines include multiple sound isolating eartips to give you a perfect fit that seals out unwanted noise for a pure listening experience.

Good sound, bad construction September 6, 2010 Collin Lesko (Oakland, Ca) The bass in these things is incredible. Just absolutely amazing, sometimes even too much though. But the bad part about these earbuds is the construction. Half of the left earbud fell off the first hour i got it. That was an easy fix, just a bit of superglue needed to put them back together. But a month later the left earbud has a spotty connection to the jack and i have to fiddle with the part of the cord just go make the sound go to both ears. That was not solvable and the left earbud eventually became unusable. The website listed in the packed that came with the earbuds for customer service no longer exists. soo..... basically, if you are not going to be doing much traveling with these earbuds, then they are good for you. If you are even going to be wearing them outside while walking around, dont buy them cause they will break on you.
Good But Not Great September 3, 2010 Marcus R. Smith Ok...I like great sounding audio and while these headphones are a big step up from the standard Ipod headphones these don't meet my expectations for great sounding headphones. Don't get me wrong, I will be wearing these from now on but for close to $100 for headphones I was expecting a bit more. I don't get the spacial feeling that I read in all the previews and product information. I also think the bass is good but not great. They fit in my ears great though so I am happy about that.
Wow. These are FANTASTIC! August 19, 2010 kalyson (Sacramento, CA USA) I was worried about getting these after reading some of the reviews. So glad I got them anyway. I'd been suffering the distortion of the VMODA Vibes for years and had thought I could not afford anything better. But the price of these has come down, and these Monster Turbines are many times better than the Vibes.
The clarity is incredible. Since I listen to rock and pop, mostly, I liked the fact that there was a fair amount of bass. But the bass is not muddy - even when I kick up the bass on my equalizer. It is a frequency distribution that I really like. And they are comfortable -- for my ears, anyway. I have not tried running in them, but I hope they will stay in place.
The sound is nothing short of amazing for this price. Love them.
Phenomenal, A joy to listen to!! These Turbines Kick A**!!!! August 14, 2010 jmstrat (California) Yet again one more positive review about the Monster Turbines!! I had been frustrated by how many Earphones I found on Amazon! But the worst part was how I was so ecstatic reading a review and right when im about to finish reading out of nowhere A key flaw is mentioned that completely drains my anticipation to make the purchase. It appears that finding the right earbud either means splurging a lot of money or if you decide to go cheap you have to compromise quality. Well After comparing reviews from the Denon 452s to Klipsch's s4'S to the Etymotics and Sennheisers cx 500's I feel I made the wise move by grabbing these little monsters! After consecutive failure of the Sennheiser cx500's, I got irritated and I felt I couldnt go back to regular cheap earbuds. What I was in search for was A pair of buds that would have an honest reputation regarding the quality of construction and sound. I wanted to be able to hear my ipod for hours! Upon hearing so much on many forums regarding these IEMs I decide to jump on the bandwagon and try them out. Upon arrival I ran and almost assaulted the UPS guy because I was desperate to try them out. (not really but I was glad to see them arrive) After carefully inspection I opened the package and discovered some sweet looking earbuds! You've heard enough about the quality of the package, lets move on. I took out my ipod and was plugged the Earbuds. I was immediately inundated with a sense of awe and sheer joy. I got what I truly wanted, a pair of great looking, one can say fashionable ear "speakers, as they claim" and Exceptional sound quality. I was just really surprised at the great soundstage from these! All the highs, mids, lows, everything was an improvement from the sennheiser cx500's. I love how there is that needed essential powerful bass but it really does not overpower the other ranges. I dont know why others claim the bass is truly for bassheads, they are just right they dont exceed the Klipsch's artificial bass. The mids are WAY better and I can definitely feel im listening to 256VBR! This is how music is meant to be heard, at high quality and I am pleased! (And listening to some FLAC songs on the laptop and you really hear miniscule details you never could hear before! The highs are breathtaking and even during full volume, which I dont recommend, the highs dont bleed your ears! I dont want to exagerate but they sound and look fantastic they are truly great and I paid less than 100 for these! which is quite around my budget because In this economy I will not pay 300 dollars for headphones that will break within a few months. (I you have the cash get the Monster Coppers as they come with a lifetime warranty and will get repleaced even if YOU break them) So far I don't regret this purchase at all and I hope they will last me, the tangle free wires feel as they will hold for quite a long time!! Overall a great Quality product!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Monster, I hope you read my review!!
poor construction+great sound= don't buy it!! August 13, 2010 Stephen Elias I bought these ear buds with much anticipation. I read all of the reviews and they seemed to address my biggest concerns which were; sound quality equivalent to price and most important durability.
I purchased these in January and was very pleased with the presentation of the product, came with a cool little leatherette carrying case and in a nice box with multiple ear pieces. As for the quality of the sound it was very impressive. They also were, as stated by many reviewers, very easily removed from the little carrying case daily with virtually no tangles and I really liked the little velcro straps that came with it.
However by May, you guessed it, my major concern once again reared it's ugly head. Namely the cable though showing no visible signs of wear broke right where I plug it into my iPhone. Needless to say I am pi$$ed because I handled these things very carefully in an attempt to avoid this problem. I don't know how you plan to use your headphones but I used these everyday, however clearly these cannot stand up to simple everyday use. So take my advice, don't fall for the monster hype...unless you want to spend over $100 for a few months of great sound before being frustrated and having your ear buds break on you.
