This mp3 player has been very user-friendly, especially since I consider myself to be not very technologically savvy. However, I am able to use this player without the software that is included. I simply use MusicMatch Jukebox to transfer my play lists to the mp3 player with relative ease. The sound is clear and the speaker blares the music with striking clarity if I do not feel like wearing headphones. This mp3 player is small, lightweight, very portable, and requires no AAA batteries like some of the other players on the market. I simply plug the player into a PC or laptop with a USB cable and it charges fairly quickly. One charge will also yield multiple hours of play time.
I have another cheaper mp3 player that does not compare to the Creative Zen Mosaic. I currently have 643 songs downloaded to my player, and it still has room for another several thousand songs. I am pleased so far.

I tend to stay away from new devices, but this is very easy to use. The buttons are a little small, but other than that I figured it out!

When I first got it, it worked fine, i put a lot of songs on it worked alright. The issues started happening when i synced it with my library. It synced it twice, doubling a lot of songs instead of giving an option to replace them. I deleted some songs manually off of it, it froze after i deleted about 20 songs and had to reset it. After that, everytime i played all tracks, it would be missing data when i played a song. And when i tried to que a specific song, it would que a differnt song that was higher on the list, like it didn't fully delete some songs and so it shifted all the tracks or something. Then I tried to fix it using the creative centrale. Worst software I've had to deal with. It's confusing, it won't just play the whole library on the computer, you'd have to transfer it to your computer and eat up your computer space (one of the reasons i wanted an mp3 player to save all my music on it and not take up any comp memory). Not only is it confusing, but it didn't save half of the songs I put into playlists i created.
On the whole, it's great as a portable device, great sound. But if you want to listen to it on your computer or organize it thouroughly, it's not the best for that at all.

I started with a Creative Zen Mozaic 8GB MP3 player. I found it so easy to use, I moved up to the 16GB Zen. I am unable to read books any longer, so this is the perfect alternative. I can download several books at a time and end up with hundreds of hours of enjoyment. The books are so easy to download, I can't believe it. The price is better than any competitors. I love this product and intend to continue to be a loyal customer.

I got the 16gig Zen Mozaic and I like it. As a Mac user the XNJB software works perfect, and I am free of the restrictive, controlling antics of iApple. You can plug this into any computer on earth and swap files without nuisance. You can use it as a drive, a voice recorder, radio (FM), and it has a tiny speaker which comes in handy in certain circumstance. If you don't use it for a minute, it does shut down, but in the long run that is good, and you can adjust the timing. Just make big playlists. It looks good too. I should note I do not use video on tiny screens, ever, so I don't care about those aspects. The only drawback is the screen is super scratch sensitive- so protect it from the first! Enjoy!
